Each year we celebrate the great successes our team achieve through our annual awards and we had the pleasure of continuing our tradition late last year at our Christmas Party. Our winners are decided by their peers as team members that best embody the ONGC spirit and have a go-giver mentality in everything that they do.

MVP of the Year

This year we again awarded the MVP of the year which recognises the top contributor in the ONGC team. This person is dependable and is always willing to go over an above for our clients and their peers. They also demonstrate a great level of knowledge in their role and demonstrated strong leadership skills being a great role model for the team. Additionally, they always seek to live out our core values with a genuine interest in the progression of their peers and the company.

We are pleased to announce the 2020 MVP Award Winner:

Alec Hird

Alec started with ONGC as a trainee back in 2016 and has since progressed into his current Team Leader role within our Managed Services team. We are so proud to have Alec as one of our team and watching him progress to a senior team member in a matter of years.

Well done Alec!

Trainee of the Year

Over the last couple of years, ONGC decided to heavily invest into the next generation of experts to address a significant skills shortage our industry faces. We have been fortunate enough to be part of Microsoft Australia’s Traineeship Program where we host 3 full time trainee’s as part of the program. We have also worked for many years with BUSY at Work who have also helped place several trainees in our business both past and present.  With that, we thought it was extremely important to recognise our ‘Rising Stars’ through our annual awards. We decided to introduce a new award to the presentation this year. The Trainee of the Year award was introduced to recognise the team members in the early stages of their career that not only live and breathe our values but are also dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences and being a dependable part of the team.

Our 2020 Trainee of the Year Award Winner is:

James Bagoly

Starting with ONGC last year, James has shown great initiative which has seen him now progress to the next stage of his career. He has taken any challenge given to him by the horns and has excelled. We are certainly excited to see what 2021 brings for James in his promising career with ONGC.
