Microsoft have announced that from January 1, 2019 AUD pricing for commercial online services, including Microsoft 365, Office 365 and Azure, will increase in the order of 8% to more closely align to online services pricing in other markets. This is the first pricing alignment Microsoft has made to their Online Services in Australia in more than three years and will be represented across all Microsoft channels to the market.

What does this mean for you?

For ONGC customers, there is an opportunity for you to postpone this increase for at least 11 months, by renewing your existing service agreements that include Microsoft software products. We can then lock in current values with Microsoft for 12 months and be able to continue to honour existing pricing schedules*. However, this is a limited opportunity that must be completed prior to Christmas 2018. Please reach out to your account manager for more details, otherwise the increases once finalised by Microsoft, will be represented in your standard monthly invoice from January 1, 2019.

*Please note some Microsoft products may not be able to be locked in, ONGC is still waiting on the final scope of the announced increases. To obtain cheaper rates, a full annual renewal needs to be purchased, monthly subscriptions are subject to price increases.
